Cobain and I hung out yesterday.
It was different than what I expected but, nice nevertheless.
We talked about the future, what I want to do with mine.
We talked about work, sort of…
Then he asked me the same question everyone else does regarding him, “Why me?”

The truth is…I don’t know why.
All I know is that maybe just maybe, there is something there that I could never find with someone else.
I can easily tell what is or isn’t a waste of my time. For some reason, I can’t do that with him.
He told me that I expected too much from him, and I probably do, but the thing is, no one has ever really expected anything from him at all.
As irritating and rude and lazy and non understanding as he might be, he has a good heart, and to me, that counts a lot more.

School is coming to an end.
Though I feel like my education is finally ending, I know that it truly just beginning.
